Absolute rubbish

I have been using Air Video for many years and it is one of the best apps I have, but this new HD version is total rubbish by comparison.
Right now I have both versions running and the new HD version stops, needs restarting, drops AirPlay etc every few minutes. If I switch back to the original version, the exact same file on the same hardware plays flawlessly through to the end.
Dont get the HD version, its nowhere near as stable as the original.
