This is a wicked app I love it

This is a great app. Ive used for almost 3 years now and its still rocking.

My 72 year old mother uses her iPad from her home to stream everything I can download for her on my PC across town. She got the app running herself and logged into my account with just a 5 minute phone conversation. Shocked and thrilled!!

Its refreshing to find an app that actually functions as described. I use this app to stream to my iPad and have never had an issue. Worth the price

This is a well executed app that handles many formats and provides quality steaming.

Update: new version 2.2 adds support for picture-in-picture mode on the iPad, as well as the split view multitasking. Im using the PiP while I review this review and it works 100% of the time with no bugs on my iPad Mini 4. Im even contemplating buying the Apple TV now that Air Video supports that. Air Video is by far my favourite app on iOS. My original review remains below: Air Video is a fantastic app which Ive been using for more than 3 years. Every version has made it better, and just when I thought it was perfect with Air Video HD, theyve now released Air Video HD 2.0. Air Video 2.0 is a major update and includes iPhone 6 support plus a tweaked UI and some very important fixes for transcoding and subtitle work. But the amazing thing is that they managed to do this without ruining anything that made the app so great in the first place. In conclusion: the best video streaming app in App Store, somehow, just got better! Thanks Air Video, you guys rock :)

Love Airvideo. Love the convenience of being able to download direct from my PC to the iPad.

Ive had my iPad for 3 years but never used it to watch movies, until I discovered this app. Because the other apps were just too cumbersome to use with the iPad interface. Now Im watching movies on my iPad either by downloading them or streaming them from my MacBook. You need to install the Server side of the app on your Mac or PC. Just wonderful!

Hands down the best way to stream, share and enjoy your video library from anywhere in the world! There is no better app. Period!

I LOVE that if Ive used (3rd party, Panic)s Transmit on the Mac to mount an Amazon S3 bucket as a local volume... that I can use this app to play video content from that S3 bucket effortlessly! Unlike other streaming apps I have. I hate that this app cant do other media types like MP3, JPG, GIF, etc. like other streaming apps I have, can. If this app could, itd replace the others. I wish meta data embedded poster art and details would be displayed too.
