Now I can take my videos with me just about anywhere while my Mac is at home.

This is one of those rare apps that just keeps getting better. As the hardware improved so does this piece of softwares capabilities. I especially like the the Apple TV Version which essentially liberates my video collection from the doldrums of PC Media Center mediocrity. Im talking to you Plex! Seemless playback of EVERY format Ive yet tried with zero errors. Well done! This app is money well spent.

Would be nice to be able to move to the next video like the original AV, but this thing works so well it still gets 5 stars...

There is no better app for streaming.

Edit: desktop app was broken after update and stuck "initializing" thankfully I stumbled upon a three year old thread that took someone through a terminal process that reversed the issue of reassigning critical program folders to "root" as the owner vice the user. I lowered my 5 star review because if this was an issue three years ago why is it still occurring? *** Old review This is a fantastic app that lets me download my home videos to my iPhone or stream directly to Apple TV via AirPlay. Please dont change a thing its perfect!

Love the app! Still running great. Also got the air video HD Apple TV app and its wonderful as well. One thing though wish they could add the Folders First option switch to the tv app. keep up the good work!

...this is one of my favorite apps. Lets me work on my MackBook Pro while I watch movies on my iPad sitting next to my computer. Works perfectly!!!

This app works great and so much easier to use then iTunes

I have setup my media server and was able to stream all my collection of videos anywhere in the world. Its fast and simple!
